so saturday i rode the 115 miles to washington, sunderland for a bbq, and SFR’s first ever outside broadcast. made good time on the journey up the A19, except delays in traffic through york (should have gone the way i normally go) and a diversion off the A19 near durham due to what i have since been told was a particularly nasty smash. shoe shine and trev met me outside the co-op funeral parlour….a sign? i followed them to shoe and vespas lovely home, and in best withnail and i fashion said “i demand you get me some booze” and so it was that the trend was set….. more to follow tomorrow, too tired to type today.
